Approval according to directive 2014/32/UE Module B
One of our metrological fuel distribution skids has just successfully passed the final approval stage! An obstacle course! Here are some of the key steps:
The Tank, an IBC within the meaning of the ADR, must be UN1203 approved for gasoline or UN1202 for diesel. For this, we carried out destructive tests at the CEFEA on a seed.
Then, we designed an approved metrological measuring system in accordance with international regulatory texts on legal metrology (2014/32/EU, WELMEC guide, OIML R117, etc.). Lots of reading and thinking to make the right choices!
Our measuring system was then approved by the LNE, which gave us a Type Examination Certificate. With obtaining this CET, Pegase is recognized as a manufacturer of metrological measuring systems!
Once the equipment is put into service, there is one last step and not the least: the initial inspection carried out by Cognac Jaugeage. This is a verification of technical and documentary compliance on the one hand, but also the calibration of our metrological counter. Many tests are carried out to verify the accuracy of the meter.
A guarantee for the consumer to be billed for the exact quantity of fuel distributed to him.
One of our skids passed this last step successfully last week, and obtained his holy grail, the green pastille!
